Former Chief of Chemistry and Drug Metabolism at the US National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) past President of The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT).

United States-based forensic toxicologist Professor Marilyn Huestis is one of the world’s most foremost drug researchers. Her distinguished career has been devoted to studying the impacts of drugs on users.

She is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Maryland at Baltimore; a member of the US Organization of Scientific Area Committees Toxicology Sub-Committee; World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited Drug List Committee Member; a member of the Technical Review panel for the National Institute on Standards and Technology; an ex officio member of the US National Commission on Forensic Science; a member of the Oral Fluid Working Group of the Partnership for Clean Competition; a member of the Board of Directors of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Certified laboratory; a member of the US Toxicology Scientific Working Group; a Committee member of the US Transportation Research Board on Alcohol and Other Drugs and a Board member of the US National Safety Council’s Alcohol, Drugs and Impairment Division.
